Though a Montana native and nomad at heart, my husband and I are now putting down roots in picturesque Traverse City, Michigan. After a decade of military life, we've accumulated a startling assortment of dogs, beat-up furniture, hair-raising stories and two fresh-faced babies. I think I can finally order that return address stamp, but I doubt life will ever be "normal." And that is how we like it.
